Cozy Cabin in the Woods :)

Looking back on 2014, I have so much to be thankful for.  Right on the top of my list of blessings, however, is the new home God blessed me and my husband with in June.  For as long as we've been married (13 years), John and I have lived in a little apartment with 1 window.  It was perfect for us as newlyweds and while my husband went to radiation therapy school.  But, as my little business began to grow, the apartment kept getting smaller and smaller.

So, to make a long story short, we finally found our first house in the spring of 2014.  We couldn't be happier, living in our little cabin in the woods.  This is  a picture of our 1400 sq. ft. house, sitting on three acres.  We have plenty of raspberry bushes in the front, along with an organic garden that my husband has big plans for.

The long term plan for Kathy's Cozies is to move into a remodeled basement.  It will be a nice, big space that will suit my needs perfectly.  For now, my husband has temporarily updated one of the bedrooms as my sewing room.  These are 3 of my sewing machines--one for quilting and two for finish work.

A small portion of my fabric and crochet cotton for the flower embellishments.
I'm looking forward to 2015 and all of the new changes coming to Kathy's Cozies--including a newly renovated work area!  God bless you!

Kathy
